Cryogenic tank or cylinder

 Cryogenic tank:

It is double wall vacuum special insulated pressure vessel.

We can use this tank for double purpose as liquid and gaseous usages.

Around the inner side of the vessel vaporizer unit is installed to convert the liquid into gases state.

And which is Fitted with inlet, outlet, vent, gas and liquid usage valves.

For quantity indication floating needle is installed at the centre of the upper body.

We can store liquid nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, etc.

Positive pressure should be maintained.

And 3 kg/cm2 or more pressure should be maintained between source tank and filling tank.

Usually 10-23 kg/cm2 pressure limit is set for usage.

If you want to increase the pressure you have to adjust the pressure screw it in clockwise direction, then if you want to reduce the pressure means adjust the pressure screw in counter clockwise direction.

If we want to use gas means connect the hose in gas usage and open the pressure valve to give constant pressure.

For liquid means hose should be connected to liquid usage.

Cryogenic tanks are equal to the capacity of 20 high pressure cylinders.

For liquid usage pressure range is below 20 PSI and for gas usage pressure ranges from 50-150 PSI.

Always use safety procedures to handle the micro cryogenic tanks.
